Summary
Hi, I'm Arlina Larson, Director of Development and Communications at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, where I lead fundraising, major gifts, marketing and communications, corporate partnerships, events, and volunteer engagement. With a background in marketing, strategic communications, and event planning, I have built my career around connecting people with meaningful opportunities to strengthen our community. I am passionate about advancing food security across South Texas by cultivating relationships with donors, businesses, foundations, and community leaders. My work focuses on developing strategic fundraising initiatives, inspiring philanthropy, and sharing the stories that demonstrate the impact of our mission. Beyond the Food Bank, I am the 2026–2027 Program Chair for Leadership McAllen, Food Security Chair for Rotary District 5930, a Past President of the Edinburg Rotary Club, a board member of the American Advertising Federation RGV, and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). I believe in servant leadership and in the power of collaboration to strengthen communities and create lasting impact. Originally from Edinburg and now living in McAllen, I am proud to call the Rio Grande Valley home. I enjoy connecting with others who are passionate about leadership, philanthropy, nonprofit innovation, and building stronger communities together.
