NOTE;CHARSET=UTF-8:Hi there! I'm Arlina Larson, the Director of Major Gifts and Head of Development at the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley. With a foundation in marketing and event planning, I moved into the non-profit sector a few years ago. My experience in community involvement, public relations, and volunteerism has been instrumental in shaping my career. As an advocate for combating hunger in South Texas, I focus on nurturing relationships with major donors and enhancing our donor stewardship programs. I lead our marketing team, corporate sponsors, and events team, creating impactful strategies and fundraising initiatives.\n\nI'm also the Marketing Chair for the National Hispanic Professionals Organization, serve on the Leadership McAllen Board of Directors, and am the President Elect for the Edinburg Rotary. Originally from Edinburg, Texas, I now reside in McAllen, both of which are part of the vibrant Rio Grande Valley. I'm excited to connect and make a positive impact together!
